Frustrated Yet Glowing

Broken hearts and minds
Fogged brains and souls

We try to thrive through the chaotic and shattered ordeals

Some days we wake up with a thirst for violence
Some days we wake up with a cheerfulness that can make the coldness of hearts smile

We are underrated
We are abused
We are traumatized and tossed about by the winds of "life"
We are knocked about and trampled by guilt and self-doubt

We survived what could kill and demobilize
We have little demons in our heads and haunting tiny Devils on our shoulders

We are slashed by the ones who we treasure
We are made to shed hot tears by the one who should have given us a shoulder to cry on.

We are misunderstood.
We scream in our heads because we dare not express the tornado of emotions we feel at the same time.

We are not being listened to, we are being silenced by blackmail

Once we felt pain like a sword was being jabbed in our hearts, twice! Our neck was being choked up with the strings of anguish, Thrice we were pushed to corners and sulk out hearts and our eyes puffed and reddened.

In our unhappiness, we glowed and illuminated like pretty little stars.

Despite the trauma, little demons in our head, the tears, and heartaches, we strived hard to flourish.

We rose together, we clasped our hands together and FOUGHT.
Every single day, together, we grabbed the depressions, frustrations, and the feelings of self-doubt and imbecility, we gathered them and flung them into garbage made of fiery coals.

We burnt them.
They kept coming back, but we kept doing them justice.
We GLOWED though we were frustrated.
People saw us, judged us, misunderstood us, some consoled us genuinely and hypocritically.

They do not know us, and we do not need to explain anything to people who plunge into conclusion, they are not worth it.
